Our experience working with Nick was excellent from start to finish. We were looking for a home in a difficult market and had to rely on Nick’s expertise over and over again. Communication skills are key during a real estate transaction, and this is probably where he stands out the most. He communicated with other agents and did everything in his power to find out what was most important to the other party to help us submit a successful offer. He was in constant contact with us along the way and made sure that we were aware of what was important during the transaction. He responded to our needs immediately, and never made us feel like we were asking too many questions, or that we were being difficult (even though I knew we were!). I remember during one showing I was feeling pretty discouraged about houses being put under contract so quickly and so much over asking and I was wavering about my interest in a particular house. Nick knew that my heart wasn’t in that house and told me not to settle and to wait for the right thing, because it WOULD come along. And he was right. I think a lot of realtors would have been happy to have gotten us under contract as quickly as possible to save time, but not Nick. He wants his clients to be happy long term, and he has a good idea of what will do that because of his strong communication with us along the way. He connected us with the right people, he talked us off the ledge when we were frustrated with the market, and he helped to keep our spirits high about the search with not an ounce of pressure. Nick is the first real estate agent I have worked with, buying my first home. I don't think I could've possibly found a better realtor to guide me through this process. First and foremost for me was communication - if everyone communicated as quickly, efficiently, and kindly as Nick we would have world peace by now. He was always responsive and went above and beyond reaching out to realtors at the properties I was considering which have always put my offer at the top pile. His expertise was very high and appreciated - he was able to provide multiple perspectives on each property, its shortcomings and strengths, and when to avoid at all costs due to some structural issue that others might've said "don't worry you can fix it later" just to get a sale in. His care that the investment made sense to ME was higher on his list than speed or his own time, and he was always available for any viewing that I was interested in while only encouraging me to place offers once I was confident the situation was correct and comfortable for me. When it came time for contracts he has walked me very diligently through the entire proposal, highlighting the important parts, explaining why some parts were not as worrisome as they may first appear, and ultimately giving me the space to review it all on my own time and answering any additional questions I had. For closing he had provided a very thorough schedule, explained the various deadlines and their importance, and followed up prior to every deadline before it was too late to do anything about it (thanks to him I was never behind, but I know that if I HAD missed something, he wouldn't let it slip by). And to top it off, he was a complete pleasure to work with and made the stressful home buying process a lot more easy to deal with through sheer professionalism and good attitude. I could not recommend Nick enough, and you would be fortunate to have him as your agent.

Nick is trustworthy. He shoots straight. He really is an expert in his field. If you want a wide smiling agent, who will tell you how every property is perfect for you and talk your budget higher nudge by nudge then you're an idiot and you're not looking for Nick. If you want an agent who is more concerned with getting you the right house than the most expensive or only going out a couple times so they make more money per hour then you want Nick. I've owned apartments, townhouses, and single families. I've done property management, remodeling and construction, deed transfers, and real estate appraisal. Nick knows his stuff. He knows prices, he knows quality and comps, he knows red flags, he knows communication. He doesn't just put in an offer without typos. He calls the listing agent and talks to them. Which does more than you might think. Knowing it's not worth writing up an offer when a house is already 100k over with 60 offers saves you time and heartache. Knowing they'd like to see a quick close or an appraisal gap. Making sure the offer is written so a house filled with personal property doesn't cause issues with your lender if you go under contract puts you ahead of the other bidders. The first house we offered on Nick called the listing agent and was the first to do so even though they'd already received 8 offers that day, I can tell you that listing agent loved us. We were outbid when it went for $90,000 over, full cash sale. Nick never pushed us to go higher, in fact he made damn sure we were comfortable financially with what we were offering. We succeeded with our second offer thanks to Nick. He was in touch with the listing agent as they narrowed it down to us and another offer(full cash) and slightly lower. It was a house that needed work and the seller was nervous that we'd be scared off at inspection. But Nick was in active communication with the listing agent and so he was able to assure them that we were aware of the issues and experienced and not going to use inspection to renegotiate. So out of 37 offers we got it. I have no doubt we'd still be out looking if we didn't have Nick on our team. And he really is a team member, not a car salesman. He's going to give the information you need to make a good decision, not push you. I'll happily be sending him everyone from 20 something's buying their first apartment who have never seen a lead paint disclosure to experienced friends looking to add to their investment portfolios. I have faith he'll take care of all of them. Greenhorn or pro. I'm looking forward to seeing him when I start searching for my next purchase. He's a chill guy with a sense of humor who you won't mind spending the search with. He's also got a great inspection guy. Now stop reading reviews and go call him. Nick could not have made buying our first home using a VA loan any easier or more pleasant. He was knowledgeable and thorough, patient with a million questions, and on top of every email and text (whether from us or from the sellers and their agent). He never made us feel like we were in a sales/customer relationship, which is what I worried about when first starting to look for a realtor. We always felt like he was in our corner and answered our questions honestly and with full disclosure. He is always kind and friendly. When things inevitably hiccuped, he never batted an eye.
